Stimulation Station
Stimulation Station is a narrative-driven, interactive installation where story guides purpose and invites guests into active participation in sensory experiences. We had a blast interacting with everyone during our debut deployment, Cascade Equinox Festival 2025. Thanks to all who came to play!
The 4th-dimensional Harmonions, drawn by the frequencies emanating from this location, have phased into our 3D reality to observe us. These curious quantum travelers are captivated by humanity and eager to understand our world.

To study us up close, they’ve teleported in the Stimulation Station - a temporary sensory lab designed to explore how humans perceive reality through our five senses (they have thirteen).

Poke, ponder, and play your way through the station to teach our new friends how we human. Who knows - if they like what they learn, they might just join us on the dance floor this weekend.
The Story: Meet the Harmonions
Four sensory experience tables feature modular tabletops, each containing a rotating set of activities. The configurations change daily, with new experiences introduced throughout the run of the show. Each table engages a range of senses, from visual to tactile, and invites curiosity and play.

Four trophy cases within the installation also invite audience interaction. The Harmonions, fascinated by human artifacts, collect curious objects from around the festival grounds that are proudly displayed in glowing trophy cases. Each piece includes a blank nameplate and pen for guests to interpret or reinvent its purpose to help our 4th dimensional friends learn about their treasures.
